Job Market Transparency

You have to be logged in as a registered member to view the jobs/candidates map.

By physically showing where available jobs and candidates are located together on a geographic map, Mapertunity brings a level of transparency to the job and candidate market not currently available anywhere.

Your first job posting is free. After that, we have a variety of packages available. We call these job listing packages credits. We also offer enterprise pricing if you have a large, on-going volume of job postings you will be posting.

No, you can apply for as many as you like. We would, however, suggest you apply to the ones you are most interested in.

Yes, we designed this from the ground up to work in with Smart Phones so that you can go job hunting in the physical world by wondering around. We like to think of it as a Jobs Tri-Coder.

It combines a number of technologies and concepts that did not exist 15 years ago. For example, Google Maps was not yet rolled out globally when LinkedIN launched. So it was not possible to display jobs where they actually were on a map. Now it is.

What Problem Does This System Solve?

As consultants, we get paid to study systems and design better system approaches. The job market is full of middlemen who take a cut from either employers or employees, sometimes both. In fact, in our particular niche, we have a database of over 300 recruitment companies that send us ‘jobs’ they want us to fill. They have no relationship with the end client. They have no idea what the ‘technical content’ of the job posting is actually about. They are simply working the phone number list. Some will try to ‘qualify’ us a candidate, while others are ‘screening’ for their ‘account manager’ or some other person. It is both highly inefficient and extremely ineffective. The net result of this ’emergent system’ is that the end client doesn’t get the best candidate, only the one who the recruiter could get the most margin from.
We’ve provided a simple on-off switch for you to toggle on or off. As we roll out advanced functionality, we add additional availability conditions into this.

Each job posting requires a “Credit”. All new users receive a “First One Free” job posting credit. Additional credits can also be purchased.
